Crowns and Bridges
A tooth that keeps breaking, a filling that keeps failing, or a gap you avoid chewing on? First find out what can be preserved and which replacement options fit.

What Can Crowns and Bridges Help You Address?
A tooth keeps breaking
A cracked tooth or large filling that repeatedly fails needs an exam to see what sound tooth remains and whether a crown is appropriate.
A gap changes how you chew
If you avoid chewing on one side after losing a tooth, ask about a fixed bridge and how its supporting teeth would be assessed.
Old dental work feels wrong
A loose crown, food catching near a bridge or an uneven bite deserves review before the restoration is replaced.

Your Visit, Step by Step
Assess the tooth and bite
Examine the area and discuss whether a crown, bridge or another approach suits your needs.
Prepare the restoration
Prepare the teeth when needed, record their shape and select a suitable shade. A temporary restoration may be used.
Fit and refine
Check the final restoration, its contacts and your bite before securing it in place.
Ongoing Care
Brush and clean around the restoration every day. A bridge needs cleaning beneath the replacement tooth as well. Report an uneven bite, looseness or persistent sensitivity.
Common Questions
What is the difference between a crown and a bridge?
A crown restores an individual tooth. A bridge fills a missing-tooth space and needs suitable support. Dr. Hsieh will explain which option fits your situation.
How many visits will I need?
The number depends on the restoration and any treatment needed beforehand. Your visit schedule will be explained after the assessment.
How long do crowns and bridges last?
Their lifespan varies with the condition of the supporting teeth, bite forces, materials and ongoing care. Regular checks help identify changes early.
