What Can Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry Help You Address?

A tooth has chipped or worn

A small change can affect eating or the shape of your smile. The remaining tooth needs checking before choosing a repair.

An old filling feels different

A filling that is loose, stained or catching food may need review; replacement is not the only possible next step.

You want a natural result

If one tooth stands out in color or shape, discuss what you hope to change and what can be preserved.

Your Visit, Step by Step

Discuss your goals

Talk through what bothers you and examine the teeth involved.

Compare suitable options

Review the benefits, limitations and expected visits for the recommended repair.

Restore and check

Complete the chosen treatment and check its fit, appearance and bite.

Ongoing Care

Good daily cleaning and follow-up checks help protect repaired teeth. Contact the office if a restoration feels loose, your bite feels uneven or discomfort persists.

Common Questions

Do I need a crown or a filling?

That depends on how much healthy tooth remains, where the damage is and the forces on the tooth. The examination helps determine an appropriate repair.

Can a repair look like my other teeth?

Color and shape are considered alongside function. Dr. Hsieh will discuss what can be achieved with the materials and treatment suited to your case.

Can we address one tooth at a time?

Ask about your priorities during the consultation. Treatment can be discussed in stages when your oral health and the proposed plan allow.
